Recruiting’s recruiting, right?

With us, your ideas matter, and we’ll treat them with respect and consideration. We take recruitment seriously, but not ourselves. If you like bad jokes you’ll fit right in.

Why Hanami?

There are so many reasons people want to join Hanami. For some, it’s the ethos, our culture or the people. It could be time to develop through advanced training and continuous self-improvement. Or maybe the perks make the job a bit special, like getting the chance to travel the world.

Whatever your reason, we’re always interested in chatting with ethical and self-motivated recruiters. Are you ready to make your next move?

At Hanami, there's a chance to significantly impact a growing business.

"I chose to work at Hanami as I wanted to grow a business from scratch, to understand how to run a company; and to manage motivated and driven people.

Having spent five years recruiting in audit and risk, I can now call myself a market expert and manage a team of world-class recruitment consultants, building the global Audit & Risk teams of some of the most famous and influential brands."

"I moved to Hanami having already worked in recruitment for a few years. It helped me realise you do your best work when surrounded by like-minded people. The culture here strikes the perfect balance between autonomy and support and is underpinned by strong values of honesty and respect, which I share.

Working for a small but growing business, I see my efforts make a difference and contribute to the team’s overall success, which is really satisfying."

"I started at Hanami in 2016 from a large FTSE 250 listed recruitment company. I knew I liked recruitment but felt like a number at my old company. I also loved to travel and working only with London based banks frustrated me.

Since joining Hanami, I’ve developed new markets in countries around the world, won contracts with amazing businesses, and most excitingly, visited them. I’ve been to Bermuda, Amsterdam, New York, Zurich, Paris, Dublin, Rotterdam and Luxembourg since I joined, and I'll be travelling even more next year!"

One of Hanami’s core beliefs and values is self-improvement. Our vision is for our consultants to be the most driven, trained, and invested in professionals in our market.

We combine external training with our own self-improvement sessions. We have used our external trainers for years. They have a great knowledge of Hanami, and they have crafted a training programme that follows our progression model, helping our staff reach their full potential.

Our self-improvement sessions are run twice a month and are presented by our own people, to ensure knowledge sharing and encourage fresh ideas within the business.

Your career with us

This role introduces you to the world of recruitment and helps you understand the markets we work in. You’ll support the experienced members of your team with candidate attraction and management, finding talent for existing Hanami clients.

Once you’re up to speed with our recruitment processes - you're ready to go client facing!

You're still finding great candidates, but now you're also client-facing. You'll engage with companies around the world to drive brand awareness of Hanami, showcasing how we can best support their recruitment needs.

You’ll also start to travel both locally and abroad, to meet clients in the areas you cover.

Senior Consultant

You’ll be a consistent biller who knows your market inside out.  As well as day-to-day recruiting and client management, you’ll help with the running of the business by taking part in monthly peer group meetings.

You'll offer your experience and insight to help Hanami resourcers and consultants meet their potential. Other ways you’ll influence our business include: helping to organise monthly socials, supporting social media output, running training sessions, guiding our business values, and offering ad hoc business support.

Principal Consultant

If you want to focus on growing your desk without managing people, you can choose to take the path of a Principal Consultant.

You’ll be an ambassador of Hanami with more trust and responsibility to develop high-level business, without the responsibility of building a team around you.

Manager/Senior Manager

For those who love the idea of growing their own team, there's a clear path to progress into management. Here, you'll maintain a successful desk while making your own hires, building a high-performance team.

At this level, you’ll also have a part to play in driving key business decisions.

Once you've successfully built and maintained a consistently high-performing team and proven yourself in a leadership capacity, directorship is on the table and available.

As well as leading high-level business strategy, you’ll benefit from our big picture, long-term incentive plans.
